It might be weird and hard to read, but after you get the hang of it , you will think that every character is very special and unique in their own
It had also become very messy if you had to read about everyone all the time. The language is quite "young", because the protagonists are teenagers. They use words such as "like" and " freak", words that adults may not use very often, but all can obviously read the book yet because it is very easy to read. The book is about four girls who have known each other since before they were born when their mothers went to the same
and I had no idea what it was about just based off of the title. It was an easy read, and I enjoyed reading it at the same time. It always had you curious as to what will happen and how everything will play out. Through the whole book, it keeps you curious as to if he will get convicted or not and you do not find out until the very end. The only downside is that I did not like the way it was written.
In today’s modern world, many students in high school are striving to be the best, and sometimes to get there, students compete against each other which than of course brings on the pressure and stress of not only keeping up with classes but making it to the top of the class and becoming valedictorian. They will do anything to reach the top, sometimes even cheating to surpass fellow students. Although Margaret Talbot acknowledges the other arguments that becoming a valedictorian is great and should not be gotten rid of in her article “Best in Class”, she conveys the message that competition for valedictorian is unnecessary through her use of diction and testimonies. Talbot uses strong diction to show the reader that the competition for valedictorian
A lot of the book is spent on their trial since there was a debate over what their punishment should be. In the end, three of the four boys were sentenced to life in prison plus 4-8 years without parole while the fourth got 25 years plus 4 years without parole. All the parents of those boys were upset as they argued that four people will die for one murder. The judge doesn't care and they all go to jail for their crimes and that's how the story ends. The theme of this story is to cherish those you care about because nothing lasts forever.
This story is the thrill-seeking fantasy that the twins never thought imaginable. This story is very well put together, from the amazing beasts, (“Golems, Men of Clay” (pg. 18)) to the thrilling adventures! I would recommend this book to kids of all ages 7th grade and up, because of the amazing adventure and true theme of ‘don’t forget what you believe, and always remember you are not in the battle alone’, but the story could be hard to follow if you are young. This book is also very unique because of the way that Scott portrays each characters point of view. Every other chapter or so the point of view will switch from Dee and his allies to Flamel and the kids to Perenelle’s point of view.
The book has 15 chapters and is divided into three major parts - Childhood, Adolescence, and Adulthood. However, it moves backwards in time (Schafer). “The book begins with stories from 1989-1972, and includes tales of Yolanda’s return to the Dominican Republic; Sofia’s unwillingness to obey her father, and Mamita’s troubles with her daughters.” “The second part of the novel, titled 1960-1970, returns to a time when the girls were newcomers to the US. ” Lastly, the third part of the novel consists of the years 1960-1956 (Julia Alvarez Authors).
It took me a moment to grasp everything that’s happened in this book before I can move on with my life. I didn’t really know what this book is about except that somehow the main character keeps living her last day over and over again. I didn’t know that this book is actually about bullying and depression. Also, trigger warning for suicide.
For the past few weeks I have been reading this book called The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. The genre of this story is a teen who’s coming of age it talks about a young kid trying to find himself, distant parents, depressive thoughts, drama, use of alcohol and drugs to cope with the stress, not having a adult mentor to look up to, and Issues of sexuality. Some of the major characters are Charlie who is awkwardly and has anger issues. Another one is Aunt Helen she’s generous, gift giving, and who’s also really deeply affected by past trauma.

These particular three girls are on a wild hunt for their mother who abandoned them. One Crazy Summer by Rita Williams-Garcia, explains to us that it was a crazy summer for the three sisters. The time period within the novel is constantly changing from the past to present, which I did not like, because since read inconsistently, I had to go back into previous chapters to refresh my memory. This book was an enjoyable read. It was necessary to pay close attention in order to keep up with the plot and the changing time periods in every chapter. It is a perfect book for young adults and teens that enjoy books of fantasy and romance.

This will be an instant hit with any child who loves fantasy.
I loved every minute of reading this book. The way Alexandra Robbins peered into the lives of these seven people was exciting and I found myself relating to each of these characters in unique ways. In a way, this book resembles a reality show; I get to learn about and figure out people who are simply trying to survive high

When they reach the island the met the housekeeper and the butler. On the evening of them getting there they went to dinner.
