A lot of mountain climbers fail to climb Mount Everest. Some people can get in a bad situation and they need to be saved. Do rescuers need to save people when they need to be saved? People in these type of situations should not be rescued, because others lives are put in danger, many lives have been lost, and people depend on others to rescue them.

To begin with, other people's lives can be put in danger during the rescue. In “Why Everest?” they state in the article, “Then, there can be so many of them in the death zone that their are traffic jams. Some Days up to 200 people set off… can suffer exposure and used their precious supplies of oxygen.” This proves that people put themselves in danger without even knowing it. Who has to save these people? Rangers and Rescuers have to risk their lives to save someones elses. According to “Ranger Killed During Rescue of Climbers on Mount Rainier” In Seattle Times they state his name was Nick Hall and he fell over 3,500 feet and died trying to save people. This shows that those people put someone else life in danger. Nick Hall was found dead hours later after his fall. The made a reckless choice to climb up …show more content…

In the article “Why Everest” they state that they believe over 200 bodies remain on the mountain. This shows that many lives have been lost. Why have people died a lot on this mountain? Oxygen is so dense there that some people run out and then they die. Rangers die because they try to save others. Nick Hall was a ranger and died saving 2 people. Some bodies are really old. They say in the text “” “The body of one climber who died in 1996 still lies next to a trail on the north side and i used as a landmark identified by the green boats he is still wearing.” This shows that a lot have died on this mountain. A lot of them are from different time periods. And that's why people should not be saved. They made a bad choice to climb in the wrong spot at the wrong
