The allegory plato created about the cave could be taken in multiple different ways which makes it unique. Therefore the interpretation can be taken differently in the eyes of everyone, which in the eyes of the beholder the meaning of the allegory is created. In a personal situation what was found in regards to the truth and the chaining of minds by society. With that i shall delve into the endless answers of plato’s allegory and the ideals of people and the way they accept the truth vary so differently.

The allegory is about the mind and how we perceive the truth and intellectual freedom not only as an individual but how it affects a group or society. The chains in the allegory aren’t really a physical thing they are the blockage of the mind that stops us from the truth. To whereas the ones that are truly intellectually free are the ones who seek the truth are are forced into it like the protagonist in the story was as stated in (Freedom stage 2 paragraph one, Out of the cave into daylight.) As caused by the pain and rage would create fear amongst the unknowing causing them to not want to know.

This would reach across and in which be understood and accepted that accepting the truth is not easy for everyone. In fact it might even be easier to not accept everything as it is and just live in the cave forever in denial. But only the ones who dare to venture out of the cave can actually be intellectually free. Even though it may cause pain and people might hate you for what in their eyes would be false knowledge but in turn is the discovered truth of reality. In the end however i understand why someone would dislike the truth because for most the pain would not be worth the
