In the Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare, betrayal happens a lot, which can lead to a gain in power or a tragic downfall; this happens in everyday society when you trust your friends or family too much. William Shakespeare provides many insights into which betrayal is shown throughout the play. For example, the killing of Duncan and how Macbeth misled him.
