Odysseus faces tons of conflict in the story overcoming many challenges. When creating The Odyssey, the authors made Odysseus face these challenges to shape the plot. Odysseus is and will always be known as a hero for the numerous times he showed bravery, independence, and confidence throughout the story. If you were in Odysseus' shoes, how would you overcome all these challenges that troubled Odysseus? Odysseus is resilient throughout Book 9 because he has proven that after any complications he had, he kept trying to reach Ithaca, his home. For example, when Odysseus landed on the Island of the Cyclops, some of his men got eaten by Polyphemus, affecting Odysseus because it's his crew that he began his journey with. After his crew got eaten,
