An Emotional Rollercoaster In every english class I've ever had, every teacher has brought up a reference to or an quote from Hamlet. And every time they have I've always dreaded the day I would have to read this play. First reason, the old english language is nothing to our modern english so it was hard understanding the text. Second this play is ancient, and any other old book I've read have been tedious,so I knew I would hate this book. But I'm glad I gave it a chance, because it turned out to be one of the best plays I've read and watched thus far. The next level of ange is to take action and rebel! Hamlet was that typical “teenage boy” who was all talk till he actually killed polonius and took action. Although it was a tragic accident, this was a step that started it all in the plan to kill. All teenagers have a phase when they rebel, from their normal lives and do things they shouldn't be doing. We hang out with bad kids and go to parties with alcohol, and drugs. We step out our comfort zones and so did Hamlet. Hamlet hates his stepfather with a burning passion, my friends also hate their step parents too and it's hard to make a connection with an parent that's not biologically connected to you. I’m guilty of it too. At first hated my stepfather for the longest time but we set aside our differences and get along well now. We all struggle
