As Macbeth strode down the long cold hallway towards the door he could hardly keep the smile from coming through to the surface. Macbeth opened the door and heard the satisfying creak of the old rusted hinges. He walked into the room and saw Lady Macbeth sitting in a chair near the corner of the room. She swiftly got up and leisurely walked up to him and they shared a nice tender kiss. As their kiss comes to an end Lady Macbeth adopted the smile that Macbeth had been trying to keep locked away. Macbeth began to yell, “Lydia!!! Ye shall never speak like that again!” Lydia went to speak but all that came out was a gurgle. Lydia looked down to see the tip of the knife protruding from her abdomen and blood began to soak the white gown. Blood began to come out of Lydia’s mouth and drip to the floor. She fell down to her feet and with her dying breath stated, “LORD, condemn them to spend eternity in the depths of tartarus.” Then her body went silent.
