He’s package is light but that ‘light’ package could mean throw away every old thing and new starts. And that photo is very bright and vivid colour. That bright and vivid tone means hopeful start. In this photo, we cannot see an exit (or entrance door to that man) so we cannot know what is out there and that man’s heart must flutter because he is expecting new-happy world. I choose this photo because this photo’s impression is really same with Blanche’s new arrival. She arrived at city called ‘Elysium’ by taking a streetcar named ‘Desire’. Elysium means heaven and heaven is the most strong example of new start and happy life and escape destination from harsh life. Her utopia was heaven (whether it is or not) so she must arrive with full of hope and expecting to find new protector and stable life.
