Do you think Hammurabi’s Code was just or not? Hammurabi was a king of a really big empire named Babylon and created a code of laws all of the civilians had to follow. Hammurabi’s Code is not just because most of his punishments resort to violence.

Hammurabi’s Code is not just because most of his punishments resort to violence. For example, one rule that Hammurabi created was that if a man created a hole to break in, they shall hang him in the hole that he made. The law that was just resorted to violence further proving the point that Hammurabi’s code is not just. Also, another law that Hammurabi wrote was that if a man creates a house and it crumbles and kills the house owner the builder will be put to death. The law resorted to violence
