Impatience In the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespear demonstrates that Romeo’s tragic flaw is impatience. William Shakespear shows this throughout the entire story, and I thought it was the most important tragic flaw that he included into the story of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo’s tragic flaw of impatience is shown through his quick act of falling in love with Rosaline, then quickly falling in love with Juliet, while following his marriage with Juliet within a couple of days after they met. You also see his impatience towards the end of the story when he killed himself, because he had thought that Juliet had died. If he were to be more patient, then everything would have been fine.
