Mahat 1 Nisha Mahat GC Govt 2305 April 28, 2017 Interest Group Interest Groups are the group which acts for the benefit of their group by collecting everyone views in a group. It does the planning and implements those plans to achieve their goal of the group. And to be heard their problems by their senior people. They do have a leader who can handle their group in an effective way. The leader should have some specific qualities as a good leader such as smart, courage to speak, motivator, good planner, can set high goals, be an example for others, someone who can see the strength of the individual etc. These above mention qualities make a good leader and a good leader can lead his group and goals to make it successful. I would like to give an example of one of those groups over here. 2 NASFAA (National Association of Student Financial Aid and Administration). 3 “The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) gives proficient advancement to budgetary guide heads; advocates for open approaches that expansion understudy gets to and achievement; fills in as a discussion on understudy money related guide issues, and is focused on differing qualities all through all exercises.” (http://www.nasfaa.org/About_NASFAA) Another Example of an interest group I heard is USSA (United States Student Association). 4 “the mission of The United States Student Association, the country's oldest and largest national student-led organization, develops current and future leaders and amplifies the student voice at the local, state, and national levels by mobilizing grassroots power to win concrete victories on student issues. The United States Student Association Foundation ensures the pipeline of effective student leadership by facilitating education, training and other development opportunities at national, state, and local levels in advocating for issues that affect students.” (www.usstudents.org.) Although, it is challenging to establish an interest group and lead that group as a good example like above-mentioned groups such as NASFAA and USSA. But I believe if there is interest in doing hard work and have patience then nothing is impossible.
