Introduction An ethical dilemma is a choice between two ideas, wherein there is no definite or correct answer (Spencer, 2017). Sometimes we are stuck in the decision-making process and when a person is attempting to figure out the best course of action and inquires what should be done, this is a sign of an ethical dilemma. These situations frequently make people feel uneasy and may contradict personal beliefs and values. Finally, the NASW Code of ethics and ethical standards, (6.0) social workers have ethical responsibilities to the broader society. (6.01) As social workers, we serve as an advocate for promotion and improvement for the best interests of others and for the overall welfare of society, the preservation of the environment, and the advancement of the global community. I opened up about the situation and my dilemma and he advised me to accept the responsibilities only if I am mentally and emotionally prepared. He also advised me to set aside my Canadian dream for a while and focus on helping to fight Covid-19. My brother motivates me and encourages me to work with confidence and with purpose. He makes me realize that fighting the Covid-19 pandemic is a call for unity and solidarity and it is such a great honor to serve not only the people but also the whole nation.
