To say any kind of protest is the correct way is pretty controversial. There is evidence of non violent protest being just as effective as actual violent ones. The fact that a society has to protest in the first place makes the overall subject quite alarming. Within real life, a protest is to protect or make certain situations notable or recognizable to the general public. Making a protest itself doesn't exactly get things done - it only makes the cause evident. Protest are generally used as a way to make certain situations seen as an actual subject. A protest itself is hard to explain violent or non. It isn't something that can truly be justified by an Oxford definition. It depends on the people leading and who are within it. Of course, violence truly isn't the answer but when certain situations arise and being quiet doesn't work, people resort to their natural bodily instincts as humans. A white terrorist can shoot and still be noted as a “Lone Wolf” or a “Good Man” and kill 60 but a black 15 year old boy can walk the streets minding his business and still end up 6 ft under. Everything can survive within the public's view as something good if chosen, and if ignored or silenced it can start uprisings. Like previously stated, society is what leads to
