Juliet Power Precis In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Shakespeare describes the story of two teenagers on their path to marriage, in the span of a week. Romeo and Juliet live in written in 16th century Italy, which meant Juliet’s mother and father pester her into getting married to Paris, and her mother implies that she is late on entering so-called “motherhood” and married life. Juilet’s Mother tells her that she has to get married in this line showing exact evidence “Well, think of marriage now. Younger than you Here in Verona, ladies of esteem are already mothers. You can tell in the balcony scene her clothes are more revealing and she isn't dressing modest like how she did in the ballroom scene before. You can also tell that William Shakaphere makes Juliet's character different in different scenes to add effect to her character and to show that she is a teenage and that she will break rules, He also adds this to show the risks juliet will take for romeo even though they’ve known each other for about only 11 hours. Hence, why her relationship with her parents are unstable because they aren’t a good example of a healthy married couple. I think that William shakesphere is trying to prove that all teenagers are the same and that they execute their actions in different and sometimes painful ways. He also tries to prove that women are not what the “stereotypes” are. What is learned from Juliet's actions is that she is a very live in the moment type of person, that will take risks for anyone that likes her back. Another reason is that she will do anything to get out of the circumstances that she's in because of how harmful her home life is to her mental health. In Romeo and Juliet many plot twists occurred with them meeting, getting married, then passing. If you deeply think about the connection they had it was very close to nonexistent they only thing they mostly had in common. In the end it's a heartthrob story that shows the love of two teenagers that have no car in the world. It shows change, rebellion, and diligence. In the end you realize that there are two kids that don't know much in life and think they have only each other. The past is over and she's no longer the misunderstood and doubted girl she was. At the end they play connect to the real world in a way we might not
