Every action taken, decision made, rule broken makes an impact on the rest of a person's life. That applies to the play Macbeth, written by Shakespeare. For everything the main character Macbeth has done or thought had transpired into something bigger as the story went on. He had killed Duncan,Banquo, and Macduff's family all because of a prophecy. The guilt that kept building on Macbeths shoulders from all his action, is infecting his mind, making him go insane.

She too is carrying guilt and it's starting to wear her down. A doctor is trying to watch over her as she starts remembering Duncan's murder that she caused, and that kicked off Macbeth's reign of terror. “Out, damned spot! Out, I say!”(5.1.32). The spot is blood, seemingly now dyed into her conscious. Obviously she has become seriously depressed and confused as she has been hallucinating like her husband, and not being able to sleep. It's all seemed to much for her, and she passed away. It is inferred she commited suicide in the play, and that is very likely due to her mental state. Macbeth is distraught that his wife died and prepares for battle. He seems to be carrying a cocky and carefree manor, because of the prophets he's heard. “The mind I sway by and the heart I bear/ Shall never sag with with doubt nor shake with fear”(5.3.9-10). He is consumed by ambition, and his unhealthy trust in the witches are doing more harm to this already broken man. As he is about to go into battle with full trust that the prophecies will keep him away from harm and keep him alive. That was his downfall, and he along with his reign has
