She’s the Man is a modernized film based off of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. This story is followed by Viola, a tom-boy who loves to play soccer and nothing else. It was not until the girl’s soccer team was stripped off the school premise due to the lack of members and that girls are “just not good enough compared to the boy’s soccer team.” This leaves Viola with no other option than to pose as her twin brother, Sebastian, and take his place at his new boarding school to join their soccer team while he’s in London for his passion of music making. There were a number of events she faced at her new school such as the love triangle between herself and her handsome roommate, Duke, who’s in love with a another girl named Olivia. Olivia has fallen for Sebastian who is actually Viola in disguise. As if that were not enough, Viola's twin returns from London ahead of schedule but has no idea that his sister has already replaced him on campus. In most cases, it could lead to sexual objectification: using women by their looks so they can be later used as a sex toy. In the movie, “it’s the looks in a woman that matters more than personality and that’s how your build up your popularity.” Most of the men on the campus believe that’s really the case. If any of them manages to make up with the “hottest girl around”, use her for love and sex for awhile, then dumps her, they will be the most remembered in that area disputing how the girl might feel about all of this.
