The Misunderstood Life of Frankenstein’s Creation A lot of people in society judge people by how they look, and most times this isn’t a correct depiction of their character. Such as Frankenstein’s creation where he is wrongfully judged and treated just because he does not meet the idealized standards of a human being. Many people in society seek for someone to love and to be loved by so they can feel cared for, having someone to call a spouse, friend or family member makes them happy. Frankenstein’s Creation was not able to share this luxurious part of life due to looking like a monster, which gives people the initial reaction that he acts like a monster as well. The Monster has learned a lot about the world in credit to the DeLacey’s, so he knows what the idea of a normal life is supposed to be like and that’s all he wants a normal life however nobody else sees it that way. So the judgements made by him are made by a group of people who can’t truly understand what the monster has done to stay on the right path (Espinoza 1-2).The Monster throughout the whole book wanted someone to hangout with no matter their age or gender he isn’t biased like the rest of the society as someone can see when he approached the girl after she was saved by him from drowning and the boy in the woods. Wrongful judgment of the Monster and constant neglect shifted him to anger, but he had no other choice (Britton 5). Although the Monster might have shown anger in some instances, he showed a wide variety of caring and human qualities. Throughout the Monsters journey of neglectful hate and searching for his place, he showed plentiful moments of human-like qualities. The Monster did some things that are considered hateful, but he shows remorse and guilt by calling himself an abortion and how miserable he is (Shelley
