Ever since the animals came together and defeated their master Mr. Jones and took over the farm on their own with two leaders Snowball and Napoleon, “two young boars” Starvation was heading for the animals of Animal Farm and it isn’t good. “It was a bitter winter… in January food fell short. The corn ration was drastically reduced, and it was announced that an extra potato ration would be issued to make up for it. Then it was discovered the greater part of the potato crop had been frosted in the clamps, which had not been covered thickly enough.
