Who’s To Blame? Have you ever wondered what it would be like for two families to hate each other. Well that is what it is like in the story of Romeo and Juliet. In Shakespeare's tragedy, Romeo and Juliet are lovers who face a tragic ending. Fate and feud are to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. First, fate is responsible for the deaths of the two lovers. For example, Friar John couldn't deliver Friar Lawrence's letter to Romeo because of the plaque. This means that Romeo did not receive the letter so he didn’t know the plan with Juliet. As a result, Romeo kills himself before Friar Laurence can tell him that Juliet is not actually dead.
