In this essay I will be examining Gambles essay and how liberty, democracy and equality have developed within liberalism it will also include the relationships these aspects have with each other and how they come in conflict within liberal government. The main claim of my essay is how liberty, equality and democracy developed within liberalism. Liberalism is a political view. Liberals generally support civil rights, gender equality, democracy, etc.

A second point that contributed to liberalism was democracy. When the revolution was in motion, the greeks defined it as a forma class government which is what paved the way for anarchy and a new development of order. The advantages of democracy was that an equal community would soon be developed which would put aside all the divisions and create a society that had a place for all its members in the community.
The development and structure of democracy stemmed from the French and American revolution which started when the declaration of the principles of liberals that had been created.
