Summarize Lamott's ideas about writing in this essay in 4 or more sentences.

Lamott discussed her ideas about shitty first drafts. It is the first step that writers use in writing. She indicated how flawful and inappropriate the words that we are going to have but they have to start from something. Just to put their ideas in a paper. She gave us an example of her own experience, in which she gets the informations that she needed to have, and ended up writing a really bad first draft. She gave us the confidence that we should never be afraid of having a first draft because nobody is going to look at our work yet. But after the second and third draft, you will be having the best informations that you can ever write, put the most appropriate words and giving informations in a clearest way.

How will you apply Lamott's ideas to ENG 1A?
I will apply Lamott’s ideas in ENG1A by using her strategies. Having a first draft, put all the thoughts that you have even if it is going to sound bad, inappropriate and make you feel like you do not want anyone to see it because of the shame that you’re gonna face. Then edit the drafts that I have, delete few lines, put new words or sentences and just reconstruct it in the best way possible. So I will end up having a really good essay in my ENG1A class.

Lamott uses Ethos as a rhetorical strategy in her essay. The best way to believe in the things that a person say is if the person that is speaking or writing the information is talking about her experiences in her profesion. Lamott is infact a writer, who is giving an advice on how be the best writer.
