However, in contaminating the air we inflict costs on other individuals that we do not display in the market price of the trip. This is a bad spillover that the market fails to account for. B. The government could set greater standards for emissions of vehicle’s and airplanes and polluting places such as factories. C. The cost of gathering these higher standards in terms of redesigning vehicle’s, airplanes, and factories will be higher.
