Peter in 2 Peter 1:3 informs us as Christians we have been given by God “All things pertaining to life and godliness.” There’s nothing that God has instructed his Body, his bride, the Church, that is okay to not apply to your life.

Entwistle suggest a sufficient technique of integration albeit the Allies model, and this paper will outline the strengths and restraints of this model as well as how Methods of Knowing and the Two Book Concept further discover the effectiveness of the model. The justification of this paper is to instruct its reader on different subjects of the Allies model concerning the integration of theology and psychology. In line with this, the advantages and drawbacks are shown as well as how this model deals with diverse concepts, and how it considers the relationship between Christianity and psychology.

And because they are inspired, no other books are; they have a unique divine authority by which we follow in our life and belief what they teach. As evident in the dialogue between Socrates and Euthyphro, whatever the gods justify as virtuous is unquestionable because holiness is dependent on God (Indiana University 18). Euthyphro states, the holy is that which is loved by gods (Indiana University 18). Something is moral if it pleases God. God being good, He loves only that which is good thus He wills to be moral only that which is good. The understanding of the goodness of God should be done metaphysically and not morally.
This being the case, Five Views on Biblical Inerrancy is a book on the doctrine of inerrancy where five Christian scholars, R. Albert Mohler Jr., Peter Enns, Michael F. Bird, Kevin J. Vanhoozer, and John R. Franke discuss their various perspectives on biblical inerrancy, narrowing the focus on four significant issues – (1) God and his relationship to his creatures, (2) the doctrine of inspiration, (3) the nature of scripture, and (4) the nature of truth (Merrick & Garrett, 2013, p. 22). SUMMARY For the interest of this paper, I chose the first chapter titled “When the Bible speaks, God speaks: The Classic Doctrine of Biblical Inerrancy” (Mohler, 2013, p. 29) by R. Albert Mohler Jr. who asserts that the evangelical faith would become indistinct without the doctrine of inerrancy and thus crucial. There are many references in the novel that reflect upon the theme of good vs. evil. A quote that expresses “good” is, “Thus are we ministers of God's own wish. That the world, and men for whom His Son die, will not be given over to monsters, whose very existence would defame Him. He have allowed us to redeem one soul already, and we go out as the old knights of the Cross to redeem more. Like them we shall travel towards the sunrise.

God gave us his word and teachings through the Bible. There you can find all things that are virtuous, and it commands us to dwell upon these things in Philippians 4:8: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things. (NKJV Phil. 4:8) Here God is telling us to “meditate” on all things that are good and virtuous and describes what is good and virtuous. (NKJV Phil. 4:8).
Another Milestone that effects the way we define the notion of “Good and Evil” is largely based on our religion. Therefore, the way we see right from wrong, heaven and hell, light and darkness, Good vs. Evil and God and the Devil comes from the moral criterion that we attempt to apply to our worldviews. However, given the conspicuous contrasts amongst religions, ranging from Christianity to Islam to Judaism. Many people believe that due to the simple fact of religious diversity, this provides the basis to discredit any assumption of moral truths. Some religions define evil as “the result of human sin” or that “Evil is the result of a spiritual being who opposes the Lord God”
In order to interpret scripture one must follow eight principles that help unveil the word of God written in the bible. These eight principles are, as follows, charity, faith, reason, context, literary genre, history, language, and the senses of scripture. Through each paragraph I shall explain in more depth about each principle’s purpose and an example of it being used in the interpretation of the bible. The principle of charity deals with the love of god, neighbor, and oneself for the sake of god.
