The first time I heard about Americorps, it was my first year as a transfer student at Georgia State University. I had no idea of what the program was and what it consist of. The moment I search and read about the program without doubt I wanted to be a part of. The reason why I would like to join Americorps program because of the purpose it exhibits. Americorps represents the theory of idealism.
I want to become a Veterinary Tech because I love animals and I love taking care of them. I’m a people person and I enjoy working with the public. Recently, I moved into a neighborhood with a lot of elderly neighbors; I started helping them take care of their dogs. I would get up in the morning and walk their dogs before I left for school.
Resident Assistants serve many purposes and play many roles in the community. They help to build and promote a supportive and active community within their residence hall and across the campus, and offer support and guidance to their residents. This aids in making Geneseo feel more like home and a community rather than simply a school. RAs enforce Geneseo and Department of Student Life rules, while also being a more easily accessible and less intimidating resource to other students in need of help. I want to be an RA so that I can become more involved in the Geneseo community in a positive way, by helping and representing other students.
I care about providing the best holistic healthcare I possibly can for my patients through evidence-based practice. I respect individuals’ race, socioeconomic class, gender, and sexual orientation. I work well with others and I strive to help create a good working environment where people can communicate, ask questions, learn new information, and feel respected. With this New Graduate Nurse Residency Program, I hope to be exposed to many different clinical situations. I hope to further develop my clinical leadership skills and to gain new knowledge.
Implementing plan of care, evaluate outcomes and help patient reach their goals, according to their plan of care. There are many things I can’t do right now as an LPN, such as IV push, teaching, assessments, etc. but once I become an RN my goal will be accomplished. OBGYN Ultrasound Technician How rewarding would it be to have the opportunity to get to experience a mother and father seeing their unborn child for the very first time? To get to be the person whom informs parents of the gender of their baby, which they have anxiously been waiting for. I don’t believe there could be a greater feeling in the world than being there and sharing that excitement that people anticipate about their entire lives. Getting to be a part of these moments is one of the main reasons why an OBGYN Ultrasound technician is my dream career. Personally, I love to make others happy and I love seeing others happy.
Area FFA Officer Essay There are several reasons why I want to be an Area 15 FFA officer. The principal reason that I want to be an officer is for the learning experience that it will provide. Along with learning various new objectives, being an area officer will help me develop and better some of the leadership skills that I already have. Not only would being an area officer provide personal benefit, I could use the skills and knowledge that I gain to help benefit my chapter. Being an Area 15 FFA officer will teach me several new things about the FFA and leadership skills that I don’t know already.

I have leadership skills that are portrayed at school, at church and at after school activities. I also should be in it because of my strong character and how I can work in a team. I have never gotten a MRI or an ODR, always thinking about helping others and cheering them up. Also I try to be a good influence on everyone by behaving and being gentle. Also, I like helping my team and treating everyone equally.

I am in my third year of nursing and I am currently working in a hospital on an Orthopedic Neurological Trauma Unit.
