The reason that kids under the age of 18 should continue to be allowed to play contact sports is because participating in contact sports can help to give kids confidence, self-esteem,leadership and a bunch of other skills that can be put on to child development that can help the child to open up and be better at things like football, tennis, basketball and many more, and it will also help then to have good sports-men ship. All children should participate in sports to improve their health, communication skills with other children and even to improve relationships with close friends and family. 40% of Australian children do not participate in any sports outside of school and 25% of Australian children are overweight or obese. This puts the child’s health in danger and also affects other aspects of their lives. Sports can improve a child’s self esteem and can let them develop in something they may never have thought of doing before. Over all, children should participate in sports to develop themselves further in life.
One reason they are very important for kids is that children can form a healthy lifestyle from sports. According to Los Angeles Times, the parents are one to blame when it comes to child obesity. This is why enrolling your kid in sports can take the fault right of your shoulders.
It is outrageous that people think minors can't play contact sports. People below 18 should be able to play contact sports. In my opinion, people should be able to play contact sports because of the fact that you have to train while your young to be even able to go pro, that is the main reason little children go outside to play the sports with friends and family. But there are some downsides to constantly playing outside and not playing enough. There are not many downsides to playing outside for little children, but there are a lot of ways that the kids can be hurt.
Some may think that kids should be allowed to play competitive sports. But others think that children should not be allowed to take part in competitive sports. I'm here to tell you that my research has proved that kids should not be allowed to take part in competitive sports. Kids should not be allowed to take part in competitive sports because first, more than 775,000 children are treated or seen in the emergency room from sports related injuries a year. Another reason is, it can get to be really expensive, and the last reason is, It can interfere with school.
Children Should not play Competitive Sports Imagine you are in the middle of your son’s football game. They are winning 14 to 28, in the last quarter. You think the deal is sealed, and your son’s team is going to win. All of a sudden, just before he throws the ball, he is sacked by the opposing team.
I belive that some times parents can be to hard on their children, some parents demanding that their children join a sport, or activity with out giving them a choice. and it is verry hard on a child to be forced to interact with other peers if the child is not ready for interaction. because they need to have a choice in the matter it can prove to be harmful to a child being forced to do things they do not want to do. On a possitive note sports and other activities are a great way for children to make friends and interact with others sports, and activities. also provide exercise for children and a chance to be competitive so they can make better decissions in life later .
I think Competitive sports can help kids excel in preparation and performance, goal setting, teamwork and discipline(Capaletti, 2019).Competitive sports can teach your kids healthy habits and make exercise fun from a young age(Capaletti, 2019). This means that kids can adopt a fun activity and choose this rather than harmful choices they see around them by using the extra time to practice sports rather than curing their boredom with other harmful alternatives. Sports can also help your children gain aspects of life that could potentially help them succeed in gaining future jobs. What is meant by this is that future jobs require teamwork skills and the ability to face challenges in tough situations just as sports do. Involvement in sports can also actually help them manage stresses that they encounter throughout life.(Capaletti, 2019)
At a young age socialization skills can be extremely low. Children are not fully aware of how to interact with others because of their lack of experience. Playing a team sport allows for kids to meet and interact with others who share at least one same interest and often times more. It helps to establish a social identity and find out who you are by socializing with others. Sports promote social development in children and teach kids how to cooperate and compete with fairness.
It is a great way to develop the lifestyle of a child. Sports in my opinion shapes the

This means that in sports you have to follow the rules, work hard and work together with just what you need to do at school or at a job. Participating in sports also helps with test scores. According to the Ohio university infographic, “Youth that participate in sports have higher test scores, Go onto secondary education, earn a bachelor's degree, have improved academic achievement and ultimately a higher income.”
In the article named “Benefits of Teamwork In Sports.” the author, Wade Harle showed how learning to cooperate with others towards a certain goal in youth sports is what builds character, friendship and important life skills for players and also coaches. The friendships built throughout a team can last a lifetime for some players, and the journey of a team throughout a season is often stuck in your memory for a lengthy period of time. Also found in that article is, the teamwork in sports offer a way for kids to compete for something together. Although it is important to know that winning isn’t everything in sports, some competition can be great for people.

Sports can make kids the next David Wright, the next LeBron James, the next Eli Manning, or the next Lionel Messi. The best part of sports is that you're improving your physical health, psychological health, social skills, and academic benefits. Physical and phychological health can benefit a child in many ways.
Competitive sports provide a community which kids can work with and beat other teams with. “Playing a sport helps children develop social skills which would benefit them even when they grow older. Playing sports teaches them about teamwork and cooperating with others. They learn to interact with people from different ages” (Mahaseth). When these kids grow up, they can use these skills to be able to cooperate and talk with their colleagues.
In this day and age with professional athletes being at the top of the social spectrum, youth sports have gotten very popular. “More than 26 million children ages 6 to 17 played team sports in 2014(Rosenwald).” Youth sports are very popular because it brings the great feeling of being on a team. When you are on a team you feel like you can do anything together, and nothing is stopping you. There are also many flaws in youth sports.
