The first is Wikipedia, which states a brief overview, along with this, “when Jews again protested his actions he gave the signal for his soldiers to randomly attack, beat and kill – in an attempt to silence Jewish petitions.” My second source is an analysis of the event from livius.org. It starts by briefly describing the aqueduct in its construction. The writer then explains the temple treasury, and that it could be used for public welfare such as this. Therefore.
My final and third reason is the bad weather and poor living conditions. There was always cold weather and never a bright sunshine, you never had good clothes to keep you warm for the weather many people didn 't even have shoes. They said some people when they walked around in the snow, barefoot their feet cracked and there were bloody footprints everywhere. They didn 't have the best quartering either all they had was a simple, tiny, log cabin with no air conditioner or ventilation. It was always smoky like in them and probably as cold as it was outside.
No food or ammunition entered the town leaving the citizens eating mules and rats. Citizens lived in “dugouts” or “bomb proofs” that were holes dug out from the sides of hillsides. The townspeople starved but persevered. Many struggled to keep the city running. Without communication outside of the community, the people had very little food and water.
Sanitation was a problem in homes and public places. Many women lived in tenement houses and for this reason, women had difficulty cleaning and caring for the house. (Doc C) Basements were damp, stairways certainly weren’t fireproof, and finding untainted food was a large issue for people who lived in tenements. (Doc C) Factories were also filthy. Meat factories had meat falling onto the floor onto dirt and sawdust.
People had to face the reality of dangers of
People died from common sickness like the flu because they lacked medication and health care. Toilets were only able to be flushed once a day, which was bad for the health of the citizen’s and just disgusting. Since everyone was so jam-packed and crowded, crime rates increased tremendously. Tenements lacked running water, electricity, proper ventilation and indoor plumbing. These buildings had no windows.
On July 20, 2012, a terrible tragedy had taking place in aurora Colorado inside the century movie theater. This tragedy happened during the midnight screening of the film the dark knight rises which is based off the excerpts of the marvel character batman. A person walked into the theater, exploded tear gas grenades, and used guns to shoot into the audience killing twelve people and injuring 70 others. The person that did this horrible act was a man by the name of James Eagan Holmes, and he was arrested right outside of the century movie theater. Colorado has experienced this type of act before when going through the columbine high school shooting in 1999 but this was the deadliest act of violence since then.
This makes the barbarians burning villages into a problem. People now have no one to look to for help. Worried and lost, people were forced to take cover in the mountains.
People were becoming more and more sick in areas that were highly populated. Antanas, Jurgis and Ona’s son was even more susceptible to “all the diseases that babies are heir to, in a quick succession, scarlet fever, mumps, and whooping cough in the first year, and now he was down with measles”( pg 138). The poor living conditions in crowded areas also resulted in poor hygiene; the lack poor living conditions also resulted in more people being susceptible to horrible diseases that could result in death. The poor hygiene and living conditions did tremendous harm to the people of the United States. Especially for young

It was easy to contract a cold when living in these buildings. This was also known, “The conditions weren’t good. It was crowded and dirty. ”(Document 6). These tenements would house multiple families in one room.
The temple contained chapels within it, and it was a place that could be used for worshiping gods or rulers. This is just one of the many purposes of a government building in ancient civilizations. The government building was a place commercial activities could take place. The activities included the cultivation of many things such as cereals, vegetables, and fruit trees.
As people flooded into the cities in search of work, housing became scarce and overcrowded. Many people were forced to live in slums, where they were crowded into small and unsanitary apartments. The lack of proper sanitation and clean water led to widespread disease and illness, and many people were forced to live in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions that contributed to the spread of infectious diseases. In document J you can see how small the houses are and how crowded it is. Not only is it crowded and small but it is also unsanitary.
It was overcrowded and dirty; many people lived in small apartments with very little space. ”(Document 6). Some may ask what this has to do with the kind of education that the
