Tree Explanation The tree I drew to represent me is a willow tree. I made this specific type of tree for many reasons. Willow trees are known for their gentleness and gracefulness, and while I do not see myself as either of these things, they are also known for their calming nature. I feel this relates to me somewhat because I don 't get mad that easily, and usually try to stay calm and collected. Also, willow trees have a very rich background. They were used as key symbols in many ancient myths, representing physic powers, magic, death, and intuition. In Greek mythology, Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, used willow for wands, and Orpheus, a famous Greek hero, used willow wood as an amulet against evil. Nowadays, they are
