The misunderstood introvert is depicted in a powerful way through Susan Cain’s speech; she makes a connection many overlook and uses close to the heart personal experiences to draw her audience in. She introduces her ( it is not an ideology ---it might be her view or theory) ideology and connects a few child hood memories to the subject matter making not only a relatable but authentic ( entrance?) entrance to the intended audience. She paints a picture of being an introvert and the pressures introverts go through within society in a clear and genuine way. She pinpoints how our “New Aged America” is dominated by extrovert perception and that the attributes of introvert’s cease to be remembered; especially by employers and educators as solitary activity does not hold much emphasis in these systems.
After realize the Jungian test, my confirmed profile is INTJ which gave me a proportion of Introvert (19%), iNtuitive (27%), Thinking (31%), Judging (72%), which I understand that make a similar description that tests that I have taken before, but now with a business orientation that place me in work, business or area that require intellectual thinking in order to produce, solve or give solutions to determined issues. In order to feel comfortable developing this job the people with this profile prefer work in controlled environment like places in which he can avoid noise, people’s distraction, change of temperature, etc. to reach his comfort zone in which he is able to be productive. Indeed, “individuals that exhibit the INTJ personality type are knowledgeable, inventive, and theoretical, whether they’re working on long-term personal goals or creative projects in their professions. They are “big-picture” thinkers, creating constructive ambitions and planning for them accordingly.”
I going give a brief and quick outlook of what this test has told me so I wont have to copy and past all of the specific information in order to save space. Basically in a nut shell is that I am an Independent introverted extrovert optimistic, that loves helping people, hates conflicts, and a free spirit that feels confined by most rules and regulations. Now lets break this down into three parts, the independent introverted-extrovert, loves helpings people and hates conflicts, and free spirit that feels confined by most rules and regulations. My individuality is defined by a dichotomy. I have disunion in my identity; however, the two components in question exist together and even thrive off each other. I am profoundly introverted, yet I find pleasure in servant leadership. I am so introverted, in fact, that I turn crimson when called upon in class, however, I have no problem fully committing myself to the numerous leadership positions I hold. Being introverted does not mean I have self-esteem problems, I am socially awkward, or that I dislike other people, it only means that I draw energy from independence.
Jung’s (1923) idea about extroversion-introversion was the starting point for more scientific investigation in the personality traits domain in the early twentieth century. Jung proposed the “duality” in human personality. He distinguished two schools of thought in philosophy, namely idealists and realists and claimed that idealist consider the subject of perception as a base for knowledge while realists believe that the object of perception is the base of knowledge. Having studied the background of these schools of thought, Jung claimed that a comprise exists between philosophy and psychology in which realists are more extroverts while idealists are more introverts. He further differentiated these two distinctions by characteristics that identify

We all have different ways of perceiving and making sense of the world around us. What an individual considers a golden opportunity another considers a threat. Perception is the process of receiving information about and making sense of the world around us (McShane et al., 2010: 88). Perception crafts our understanding of the world around us and allows us to act within our environment. Perception isn’t a notion a manager or team leader can directly access or fix in others.
