The use of social media, specifically Facebook, impacts three essential components of good citizenship, responsibility, engagement and education. Throughout the article the author tells us that Facebook would be perceiving our value information that can be shown to our families, friends, and communities. The authors conducted a survey that questions 279 college students on their use of Facebook. It explored how the students would use it for civic engagement and the dialog they shared, thoughts and ideas about civic issues.
