This is an introduction to my book brave new world. This novel is set approximately in the twenty- seventh century. The controllers rule the world and ensure the stability of society through the five categories, Alphas and Betas are the top and are the scientists and politicians, while gammas, deltas, and epsilons are at the bottom and are the society’s industry workers. A drug called soma confirms that no one in this world ever feels pain or feel any negative vibes. Every member of each category receives a portion of this drug. Bernard is an Alpha, he is the single person in a world where you're always happy and physical pleasure are the only concerns. In both books there is an eye opener, the person who says no this shouldn't be happening or the person who questions the society/ world they live in, supporting this point is a young man in brave new world called john the savage, John represents the most important and most complex character of Brave New World, while in the other book the eye opener is a guy called Montag. The next point i have is the way of life in the two worlds, my supporting point is, in the brave new world the citizens are drugged with a drug called soma to never be unhappy while in this world they are not drugged they are programmed. Although their way of life is not 100% the same it is still alike. My last text-to-text point is about the motive for realizing something different. in fahrenheit 451 Montag meets a girl called clarisse who surprisingly opened his eyes to see the world as it is, while in brave new world john the savage opens his own eyes, he missed his drug one day and so he malfunctions for a day and feels things he is not supposed to, out of curiosity john stops taking his pills and becomes a normal human being, he then realizes what the government does and the effect the drug soma has on
