Fahrenheit 451 when anyone hears this tittle they think of greatness. The book,written by Ray Bradbury,was such a success that they decided to make a movie on it. Although having the same ideas,they are very different. This is not the type of book that you can watch the movie and pass your test. I'm going to be,comparing and contrasting the book and the movie and then i will be giving my opinion on both on the book and movie and obviously picking my favorite.

First I'm going to start with the similarities. Fahrenheit 451 takes place in the future,the main character of the book is Guy Montag he is fireman who starts fires by burning books rather than putting them out. He has wife and she has a different name in the movie. His life changed the day that he met Clarrise,his neighbor,and he started to save and read books. In the book Montags wife is named Mildred,and in the movie it's Linda. Linda and Clarrise are played by the same actress in the movie. I'm going to talk about Clarrise and how her Character was completely changed in the book Montag meets her in the night and in the movie he meets her in the day,In the book she is a very young girl and her influence on Montag is through her ideas sadly she is killed halfway through dying due to careless society but in the film,Clarisse is a teacher, trying to affect the minds of her students through unconventional teaching methods, and becomes In love with Montag.
