Fahrenheit 451 is a wonderful book, but it is also terrifying because it is so relevant to the life we live today. The story makes you realize that the actions we take today are the cause of what is to come. Specifically, Ray Bradbury uses his characters to significantly display that the book is set in a time after ours. A time that is overprotective of their community. The government doesn’t allow people to have any sort of books, because of all the bad crimes and misfortunes that are written within. The government is afraid that the people will begin to know too much and over power them.
