Towards the end of the school year both Daniel and Cam fought for Luce, and after that Daniel couldn't hold back anymore and kissed Luce, to his suprise, she didn't disappear based on his previous expereince. After discovering this, Daniel decided to tell Luce thw truth, that the girl he fell for evertime was her and that he gets to live forever because he is a fallen angel. Daniel told Luce that she uaually died after he kissed her or told her the truth, but not this time. Soon every fallen angel knew about this and the war was started, Penn was killed during her and Luce's escape.
