The dictionary imposes that a family is any group of persons closely related by blood, as parents, children, uncles, aunts, and cousins. I disagree. If that's the case then there are people in my so called "family" that I despise; People I dread sharing the same blood with and if I could I would excommunicate. A family doesn't have to share blood, skin color, or even ancestry. A real family is a group of people that support, love, and protect one another, and in a time of need they are there for each other.
