Grant wood is a famous artist well known in the early 1920’s and 1930’s . He was best known for his Artistic abilities . More specified in the american gothic , for his work .
Grant wood was born on the date of february 18 , of 1891 . He was born on a farm in the state of Iowa Anamosa .Grant lived with both parents . His mother and his father , Grant Father was a farmer he died in 1901 . After that tragedy his mother moved them to Cedar rapids . Grant wood only had one sibling , he had a sister . His sister name was Nan Wood Graham , she was born in July 26 , 1899 .
After the move Grant begin to received drawing lessons from a local artist . Also having an education at the washington high school . He then attended college
