123 creative fancy dress ideas & themes for nursery competition As a child, I used to love getting dressed for a fancy dress party and competition but once the task came upon me to dress up my daughter, I realized it wasn’t all fun and frolic. Each year, as the annual fancy dress competition comes closer, I start feeling stressed as I wish to dress her up in something unique, which nobody has seen before. Super Hero Theme Costumes Super heroes have inspired both children and adults and you’d be surprised to know that kids love to pretend to be one since it gives them the feeling that they are strong and they are in charge of stuff! #1. Krrish Batman and Superman are passé. Inspired by our very own super hero, Hrithik Roshan, this is the newest super hero kids want to be. This costume is the easiest to make as it simply comprises of a complete black dress – black t-shirt and trousers with a mask over the face. Fun Fact: In the movie Krrish, Hrithik Roshan also had to play the role of an old man and it used to take about 4-5 hours each day to make Hrithik look old! #2. Wonder Woman This fictional superhero was created to empower women and showcase their strength. She wears a red corset along with a blue culotte that looks much like a skirt with white stars on it. She has a gold headband with a red star on it and high boots in red or black complete the look.
