Superhero comics contain many conventions such as morals, a motive, extraordinary superpowers, a back story, and so on. Batman and Superman are a couple of superheroes from a wide variety of superhero comics. Both of them try to protect mankind from any hurt, harm, or danger that may come. A similarity between both of these superheroes is that they want justice in the world. With so much crime and torture going on in the world, mankind looks for a higher power to help stop it. In The Darkness, Superman had to leave his girlfriend in order to stop crime. Because Superman is Just like Jesus, that makes him good. Both of them will leave their family in order to help others. In the comic book Superman, Superman had to endure the loss of his earthly father who was the person who taught him everything. Superman arrested Lex Luthoe because Luthor knew that an attack was coming but just allowed it to happen, so he can see superman first hand. Lex Luthor was very embarrased by this and according to The Superman Site, “Luthor vowed to destroy Superman for this humiliation, and he has since devoted much time and energy to that goal.” In the comic book Luthor-Superhero!, Lex Luthor ended up going to another planet to hide from Superman because everyone on this new planet thinks that Luthor is a superhero, not knowing who he really is. Lex Luthor is evil because he puts on this image of someone who he really is
