Farming in North Carolina is not as popular as it used to be; it can be a carrier, it can be hard, and there is land out there to be used, so we need to get new generation farmers in North Carolina to start farming this land.

In whichever part of North Carolina people want to be whether it is in Western North Carolina, Central North Carolina, or Eastern North Carolina, there is land. People need to be using this farmland because if no one does then the land is going to become house developments, shopping malls, stores, etc. It is a shame to see what the older generations worked so hard for to let it turn into something like that. The older generations did not have anything but their family and their farms, but they were happy. Although there are still some older generation farmers out there, they are getting older and they cannot do what they could do, so the land is going to do nothing until someone does something about it.
