I’ve always loved movies, but I’m not much of a book reader. Despite this, I read Hatchet for and it was... okay. It wasn’t the best but it was enjoyable to some extent. The movie, A Cry in the Wild, though was so cringe worthy that my distant, soon to be wife, or husband, cringed even though she, or he, probably didn’t see it.

In both Rear Window and La La Land there is a dinner table argument scene. Both of these fights play an important part in each movie. In La La Land we see this fight that almost marks the end of the “honey mood” period of their relationship. There has been a lot of buildup to this argument as it is one of the first fights seen between the main couple. In Rear Window we see Grace and James arguing yet again it seems like over how privileged Grace is.

In the book “Killers of the Dream” by Lillian smith there are several ideas that are brought forward that really demonstrate that the author exaggerates the true situation and the state of affairs in the south. In the context of the book, the south was experiencing serious crisis when the whited propagated segregation against the blacks and other low class whites. Additionally, the paper examines whether the authors account is incomplete, questionable or cases where the account does not make sense. Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, is a novel that revolves around the concept of civilization versus savagery. The boys argue about points that eventually split the boys amongst themselves. These disputes come up multiple times over the course of the novel. One of which being the fight over the leader of the boys. Some believed the leader should be Jack while others believed it should be Ralph.
The movie She's the Man is a comedy that is based off of the play Twelfth Night. In both the movie and the play they use mainly the same names. The relationships in both the play and the movie are pretty similar, and still very crazy. The movie compared autoplay is more modern and the play was written in more Shakespearean text. The play is more based off of love and the shipwreck where the movie is based off of soccer and it has its relationships in it.
How well can a director put a book into action as a movie? After reading the book The Color Purple by Alice Walker and watching the movie The Color Purple directed by Steven Spielberg, I was given both sides of the story written and the screen write. Contrasting the two together personally is quite tricky because both the book and the movie were great to take part in. However some events in the book were obviously different when watching the movie.

In Stephen King 's "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption," a man known as Red tells the story of Andy Dufresne. The authorities arrested Andy for a crime he did not commit and as a result, he ended up in the Shawshank penitentiary with Red. Red described how prison life could take away all hope of surviving on the outside, but for some reason, it did not take Andy 's hope.
