Group one had presented an analysis of father-son relationships in the memoir of Night. In their presentation, they talked about many aspects of this topic which I thought was very interesting. Firstly, this group had pointed out that in dire situations families come closer, and tend to depend on each other even more. I definitely agree with this statement. For example, in the memoir, Elie says: “I had no right to let myself die. What would he do without me? I was his sole support.”(Wiesel 82).
