In the book The Crucible one of the main problems is fear. Fear is a very strong feeling if you let it control you, it can make you do things that you don’t want to do. The reason why all these people are getting hung is because of fear. And another reason why the people were talking this so serious is because of the fear that they were really witches in their Christian village. Fear has lead on to some of the most violent actions by men, and some of the biggest collapses of organized society. Fear shows us how suspicion and increase and it's destroying the community. These individuals may or may not been witches, yet the jury many times to chose to hang any accused individuals with or without reasonable cause. Due to fear of being wrongly accused during the salem witch trials erratic and chaotic behaviours stemmed across the town. People feared of being called witches so they hid, lied, cheated, and wrongfully their friends and family. Chaos grow across the town and more and more people were hung. Like on the day 9/11 when the planes hit the twins tower and the buildings fell, people hid, cried, and hurt, due to the destruction. Throughout the towns and nations faced different types of chaos and odd behavior still occurred. Often as others start acting out, other people follow them and act the same way they are. In salem people hid and accused other to hide their own behaviours. It gets worse and worse and they are just going to start hanging people that agrees that they are and if they disagree if they are not.
