The study of female homicide offenders has long been dominated by male-centered criminological strategies. There is a lack of understanding of female crime and how to address it because traditional theories frequently fall short of providing enough context for the specific approaches to offending that women take. Using case study analysis and academic articles as sources, one can take a feminist criminological approach in this research to investigate the complexity of women who commit murder. This investigation attempts to add to an improved understanding of female homicide offending by emphasizing the experiences of female offenders and taking the gender-specific nature of violence into consideration. According to Chesney-Lind and Daly (1988), feminist theory provides important insights into how gender is socially constructed and how it affects criminal conduct. Feminist criminology offers a framework for understanding the various experiences of women who commit violent crimes by looking at the connections of patriarchy, sexism, and power relations. Importantly, feminist ideas emphasize the need of taking into account women's independence as well as the social restrictions that influence their choices. Using a qualitative research methodology, this paper examines current literature, feminist theory, and case study analysis. An in-depth examination of the life experiences of female homicide offenders and the social situations in which their crimes occur can be made possible using the case study technique. By carefully analyzing case studies and court documents, we aim to identify the fundamental causes of women's involvement in homicide.
