Sacrifices are determined by circumstances. Often we are frowned based upon some of our choices. For example, a nineteen year old college student decides to get an abortion because her future is threatened as the boy is nowhere near to be found. To my understanding you should fight for what you believe, but what we believe also defines who we are. Everyone in society wants the same amount of equality. I guess the real question is how we get justice without being labeled. Based off my own personal experiences, I am considered a feminist. My definition of feminist is the belief of what you prefer when the times right as you should not be judged based off the outcome depending on the circumstance. Her video represented Art work explaining after watching her video; I appreciated her aspect of feminist as she used many examples with events taking place throughout many different experiences today. I learned that you can be a feminist regardless any situation being put through but only what you believe in. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie brought to my realization that womanist and feminist are slightly different.
