Feminist Lens means that women should get the same rights as men. Women aren't just for sexual pleasure, or weak, we’re just the same as men. Jennifer Mathieu wrote Moxie in 2017, and then it was recreated as a film and released in 2021. The novel is about a high school girl, Vivian, who discovers feminism. She then starts to fight for women's rights at her school. Vivian Carter finds out about feminism, and that her mother had a rebellious past. She then creates a zine about female equality in her school because of Bikini Girl’s song Rebel Girl. Though no one knows that she is "Moxie Girl", she still fights for women's rights. When someone writes to Moxie Girl, telling her that they were raped, she gratifies the school, writing “RAPEPORT” in front of the enterance. Which got her best friend expelled, she finally came out and told everyone it was her. She stood up outside on campus, and said a speech about equality. In the beginning of the movie she is "under the radar", not seen by many people.
