In the end, the British army was defeated by Gates and Arnold’s careful plans in which they were trapped and ultimately forced to surrender to the Americans.
In technical terms, it’s a combination of dance, performance, and equipment that creates a visual accompaniment to a marching band show. To us, it is so much more. Our flags, rifles, and sabres are more than just metal, wood, and tape. They are our prides and joys, our security blankets, our babies. We spend hours perfecting tosses, watching silks swirl over our heads, making sure that we catch with our hands in just the right places.

However, the Patriots would not have been as successful during the war without the help of French soldiers. The American colonists faced many difficulties at the beginning of the American Revolution. The Americans suffered in areas of preparation, due to their lack of experienced soldiers and war supplies.
Historically, it is believed that the causes of large scale events and wars are often rooted in the outcomes of previous conflicts. Specifically, many of the causes were in fact the results of past conflicts and ongoing tension, such as the French and Indian War and British taxation acts. People do not understand why I am so easily annoyed when they diss this great sport. Marching band is the place where the intelligent students are.
