When we do something to please authority, we sometimes are not sure if it is for the right reasons. Every person on the earth has authority. However, the United States military branches are excellent examples to display authority. They have rankings such as corporal and colonel who interchange and are always moving up in the rankings. Sometimes what you are ordered to do is not always morally right.

Sunday school my 4th grade year was when we had to memorize all of the 10 commandments and recite them for our teacher. We had been learning about the 10 commandments for as long as I could remember in sunday school but this was the first time we had to have all 10 memorized. The regulations God provided in the Ten Commandments represented the covenant God made with the Israelites in relation to Salvation Grace. God presented the route his people would follow to attain Salvation through this commandments. Through the Covenants God made with Moses during the era, He provided the Ten Commandments to Israelites. Moses performed various sacrifices that would cleanse the people of Israel from their sins. However, observance of the law was not the way to salvation in the Old Testament.
