The story continues on from here with the young boy named michele amitrano and a group of his friends set out on a race across wheat fields to a deserted farmhouse. This is the place where later michele finds filippo inside a deep hole that was dug by the townspeople to Keep him until they received the ransom money that they expected his parents to pay. When michele finds filippo he is in a zombie like state and begins stumbling out of the darkness, Terrified he quickly bikes home.
