That night Henry picked up Mirabella to have dinner at his parents' house. They are sitting at the table and everyone is being civil to one another. Eventually Henry's mom Patricia Robertson, makes a snide comment about Henry ruining their plans to be with Mirabella. Eventually an argument starts between Henry and his parents and it leads to Henry's father, Patrick Robertson, letting the two of them know that he will no longer be employing them, he owns the factory that they work at, because he is not going to fund the lives of people that go against his wishes. Once Mirabella hears this she runs out of the home in tears.

EXT - ROBERTSON HOME - EVENING

Mirabella is sitting on the front porch of the Robertson home unsure of what her next step is going to be. She hears the door behind her open and when she looks back it is Henry with a bag of his stuff. He hugs her and leads her to his car and the two drive back to Mirabella's apartment to decide what they are …show more content…

She explains that after that night Henry moved in with her and that he found a job as a mailman and she got a new job as the assistant manager at his father's factory's competition. The young boy smiles brightly before getting up to sit on his grandmother's lap, he then asks her when she and his Papa got married.

INT - CITY HALL - MORNING

It's the year 1960 and Mirabella and Henry have been living together for a little over a year. The couple are standing in front of a judge at City Hall reciting their vows to one another in front of their closest friends and family. Mirabella is wearing a short white dress with a cardigan over it, while Henry is wearing a dress shirt and dress pants. Everyone else in attendance is dressed in a similar business casual manner. Once the couple are done reciting their vows in the small dark room they turn around and notice that Henry's parents are standing off to the side smiling.
