Globalization is one of the key factors of the spreading of ideas. Globalization can spread things like religion, customs, beliefs and culture all the way to food and clothing. Globalization is the linkage of people and places around the world. Some ways that things spread is through global markets when we buy and sell items all throughout the world. Since people from all over the world migrated to many different places, they spread their religion, their customs and their beliefs, while learning about the native people’s culture. Since culture is a learned concept people started to learn and embrace other people’s culture and start to mix them. Race is genetically real but created by society to group people together. There really is no way to be able to base what someone race is by looking at their DNA, so people started to categorize people based on the color of their skin. Growing up you were always taught to categorize yourself to what race you are, which teaches kids at a young age that they are different from each other even though if you look at their DNA they can have more similarities then someone who is of the same race. Racism is a belief that a certain race is superior to another race, and is something that is taught. People are not born with racist beliefs but are learned from observing how other people treat each other. Racism is a form of discrimination and can sometimes become prejudice if someone acts negatively towards someone based on their race. What I do not understand is why did racism start, what made someone decided that one race was superior to the other. I also do not understand is why did people ever fallow those racist ideas. On the other hand, ethnicity is a group of people that share a common distinctive culture. Since ethnicity is part of culture it means that it is learned and can be changed. Ethnic groups, like race, are socially constructed which mean they are continuously changing and have nothing to do with your DNA. Since ethnicity is learned anyone can change their ethnicity whenever they want, and
