The government funding for computer science and engineering could profoundly influence engineers to keep researching and advancing on robotics to better help humanity flourish into the future. Many government agencies are starting to fund computer science and engineering for research on robotics advancement. According to Kumar and Kalil (2015), “In recent years, the U.S. government has created two national education and research initiatives that are particularly relevant to computer science and engineering.” These two enterprises where the National Robotics Initiative (NRI) and the Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). Also, the NRI and the CPS promote robotics in manufacturing healthcare, agriculture, and education. Furthermore, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and other agencies have given over $50,000,000 for engineers to develop robots that could coexist with humans in society. All around the world, different companies are beginning to use robotics to increase their profits. For example, according to Kumar and Kalil (2015), “on December 2, 2013, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced …show more content…

Kumar and Kalil (2015) pointed out that, “… the U.S. federal government should make investments that promote… and attract the next generation of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs to advance robotics… in domains such as manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and energy.” Thus, the next engineers to work on robotics will appreciate the funding of government agencies and provide the best research to improve robotics for the future. Therefore, robotics could impact the entire world by saving lives and making the society and the economy more efficient. There are many differences between nanowires and robotics; however, deciding which engineering technology is beneficial to human evolution into the
